All right, so, this has never happened to me, but there's a first time for everything, right? My good blogger/ex-Louisianian friend Andrew Leon at StrangePegs tagged me to answer a bunch of questions, all of which sort of remind me of one of those goofy dating surveys we did when we were kids. Not when Andrew and I were kids. Well, I mean, maybe. We weren't kids together--that's what I'm trying to say. But we were likely kids at the same time. Though, I'm not certain he did dating surveys with his buddies. That was kind of a girl thing, right?

Now that I've made you scratch your head (sorry!), here it goes:

What do you think of when you the hear the word tag?
You're it!

Do you think you're hot?
I know I'm hot! It's at least two hundred degrees outside! Seriously, within 10 minutes of sweeping/mopping floors, my hairline, neck, and the column of my back were completely soaked. And that's in an air conditioned house, hello!

Upload a picture or wallpaper that you're using at the moment.

Hallie, the heroine in my YA Steampunk WIP. All my icons fall on the right.

When was the last time you ate chicken?
Friday. Kentucky Fried, too. Yum!

The song(s) you listened to recently.
Currently, I'm listening to my YA Steampunk playist, which can be found here. My favorite? Probably the Stay Too Long/Tough Love Remix by Plan B, featured on the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

What were you thinking as you were doing this?
I'm picking up historical author Janet Mullany from the airport this Friday! *SQUEE* On Saturday, June 11, she's speaking at our Summer Workshop, which includes three hours of Debra Dixon doing her thing with Goal, Motivation, Conflict. I'm SUPER excited!

Do you have nicknames? What are they?
My friends & family call me Nikki (my middle name's Nicole). The Hubby calls me "boo" or "baby". One of my dear friends from high school calls me Red. And my CP alternates between QT (she says I'm the queen of tease when it comes to cliffhangers) and Asher (long story; short version: the chick behind the checkout at a local department store said my hair was an interesting shade of red. Almost ashy. Sigh. Who says that to a complete stranger?)

Tag 8 blogger friends:
Unfortunately, I don't know who all has already been tagged, but here we go!
1. Janet Mullany
2. Bonnie Louwerens
3. Kim
4. Sara Louise
5. Lela Robichaux
6. Jacqueline Carter

7. Donna Hatch
8. Cora Zane

Who's listed as No. 1?
Janet Mullany at Risky Regencies! Why? This is one of the first blogs I joined. Everyday, various authors (including but not limited to Janet) post book reviews, history tidbits, and interesting facts about the industry. A staple addition to any romance writer's blog list!

Say something about No. 5.
Lela is a great friend and a talented writer. We met at a writing class a few years ago, and have been like peas and carrots ever since. She writes adult and young adult fantasy.

How did you get to know No. 3?
Actually, a friend of a friend recommended Kim's blog. Everyday, without fail, she features an author and his or her book. Then, to top it all off, she has a giveaway. And who doesn't love free stuff?

How about No. 4?
Sara's adventures in La Petite Village is another blog I found at the very beginning of this whole experience. Sara, an American, met her husband, a Frenchman, in Ireland. They fell in love, and she followed him back to his hometown in France. They're married now, have a dog named Fifty, and a village full of interesting, fun people who never fail in lighting up the page. Check her out. Guaranteed you won't regret it.

Leave a message for No. 6.
Jacqueline, I'm so glad I met you! You uplift my spirits, make me smile, and you're an animal lover, just like me! Thank you for all you do, for all that you are... You're a special, exceptional lady.

Leave a lovey dovey message for No. 2.

Oh, Bonnie, Bonnie Rae. My bestest friend in the wide world, as Forrest, Forrest Gump would say. We've been through a lot, you and me, and I have a feeling there's more to come. I just hope it's all happy... LOL. Love you, girl!!

Do 7 and 8 have any similarities?
But of course! They're both mega-talented writers. Donna writes historical romance & Cora writes prolific monster smut. Check 'em out!

Peace, Love, and Junior Mints,
