J is for...

Java. Joe. Take your pick. Coffee! That's right. One of my favorite--scratch that--my favorite beverage in the "wide world," as Forrest Gump would say, is coffee. Not only is it delicious and stimulating when you're trying to wake up in the wee hours of morning and launch yourself into the land of the living, it produces those interesting little buggers called endorphins. And according to Elle from Legally Blonde, endorphins make you... what? Happy!

Other than for your overall emotional well-being, check out what other stuff java's good for:

1. Take some along when you're shopping for perfume. Alternate from coffee to fragrance, and you won't get one version of Armani mixed up with the next.

2. Coffee grounds sprinkled in flower beds prevents little critters from munching on them. It also enriches the soil. (The Hubby does this for his roses, and it really works!!)

3. Grounds can also be used to clean stain resistant surfaces. The mild abrasive elements removes grease, and it smells great, too!

What's your beverage of choice?

hot chocolate, herbal teas, or water... oh, and wine.
I'm not a fan of coffee. I love the smell of it brewing, but I don't like the taste.

have to share a story--probably shouldn't because it makes me sound like one of the beverly hillbillies--oh well--at a major dept. store one day-i was sampling the colognes--as often happens a saleslady appears--she starts showing me a fragrance, then takes out something that looks like just plain old coffee beans to me--i tell her it just smells like coffee--she informs me it is to clear my fragrance senses--she quickly moved on to the next customer!

Coffee all the way! Even bad coffee is okay with me....because when it's bad, that is the only time I will add cream to it. It's all good!

Earl Grey tea with a splash of milk and sugar. Although recently I've replaced the sugar with stevia and the milk with almond milk, but it still tastes the same - which is good!

If and when I plant roses I am going to have to try that coffee ground thing!

I'm a bit of a coffee snob. Just a teeny bit. Don't like the "regular" stuff, give me espresso with milk and sugar. Every day. But first, a nice cup of tea in the morning. My British colonial upbringing (Zambia). Popping in from the A to Z Challenge. Cheers!

Oh, shut it! Coffee does absolutely nothing for me. It makes me so sad. :(

Tea, tea, and tea and calamansi juice. I live in the tropics, in Asia and we have small, lemon-like fruits called calamansi which we squeeze and mix with water and sugar.
Our country produces some really good robusta and mountain coffee :-)
